Great to meet you!

We can work together to identify unacknowledged emotions, fears, desires, and entrenched patterns from the past so that you can form new ways of living with meaning and vitality. In my practice, I am committed to finding what works and what does not for each person. The goal of the treatment is to initiate a process of transformation that allows you to articulate, perhaps for the first time, in a language only you can speak, possible futures for your life.

My approach to therapy

I aim to create a non-judgmental, introspective environment in which one feels safe enough to say whatever comes to mind in the healing presence of a listening other. People who have benefitted from this treatment include those suffering from conflicts in relationships, sexuality and identity, trauma, social isolation, job struggles, depression, and anxiety.

What you can expect from me

My experience includes working with asylum seekers, elders, and with adults and adolescents in an outpatient mental health clinic in New York City. In addition to my graduate education, I study child and adult psychotherapy & psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Training Institute at the Contemporary Freudian Society.
