Great to meet you!

I work with adults and have a lot of experience working with college and university undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. I enjoy working with individuals who want to engage in therapy that is process-oriented, relational, and emotion-focused. I have a particular clinical interest in family of origin concerns and how past family experiences may be impacting current relationships and functioning. I have a background in the areas of problematic substance use and recovery. I have worked with many LGBTQIA+ folkx, and I am a World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) certified provider. I can provide documentation for individuals seeking gender affirming surgical procedures. I have experience working with clients who are questioning whether they may be on the autism spectrum.

My approach to therapy

My clinical practice is grounded in a trauma-informed, emotion-focused framework that emphasizes the therapeutic process as one of the most powerful agents of change. I approach therapy as a whole person. I carry my identities, personality, and lived experiences with me. I believe that, when I show up fully, it creates space for you to do the same. My goal is to offer you a safe environment where you can show up with all parts of yourself – the whole person that you are - without fear of judgment.

What you can expect from me

Before the first session I will have you complete some initial paperwork. I will review that paperwork before the first session so that I can get some feedback from you and get to know you as little better during our first meeting as we begin build our therapeutic relationship.
