Hello, my name is ShaQuata Davis, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work as well as a Master Degree in Social Work from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. I went on to gain my LCSW in June 2023. I have worn many hats when it comes to my journey as a social worker. I worked in outpatient mental health, case management, home health and hospice, VA mental health, as well as family homestudy. Key approaches that I utilized in my practice are CBT, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR(in the consultation stage), Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Grief Therapy, Psychoeducation, and Supportive Therapy.

As a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide a safe supportive, and judgement free environment for individuals so that they can heal, grow, and thrive. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, self-esteem and personal growth. I also assist with teaching and helping individuals coping skills that they can implement into their daily lives. I will work collaboratively with the individual to build resilience and improve emotional well-being.

In the first session there is a focus on building rapport, completion of an intake assessment in order to identify the presenting problem, discuss goals, gather history, discuss confidentiality, scheduling, and also allow patient to determine if provider is a good fit and if not discuss referral process.
