Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sheryl Fisher, LPC. I’m a licensed professional counselor with a background in clinical work and strategic systems consulting. I bring over 20 years of experience supporting individuals navigating stress, life transitions, trauma, burnout, and systemic barriers to wellness. My practice is rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens when we combine practical tools with honest reflection in a space that feels steady, curious, and nonjudgmental.

My approach is trauma-informed and culturally responsive, and I always take into account the larger systems—family, work, society—that shape your day-to-day experience.

I hold a master’s degree in counseling and continue to deepen my training through equity-centered, somatic, and narrative-based modalities. Whether you're here to untangle long-standing patterns or simply need a space to pause and think more clearly, I’d be honored to support your process in a way that’s real, collaborative, and grounded in your values.

My approach to therapy

  • I approach therapy with honesty, curiosity, and a strong belief in practical tools that work. My goal is to help you get to the root of what’s going on, figure out what’s getting in the way, and find a path forward that actually fits your life. While I bring experience in trauma-informed care, systems work, and equity-centered practice, I also show up as a real person—someone who listens closely, challenges gently, and believes in progress over perfection. I understand that people are often navigating more than just what's happening internally—they’re also dealing with broken systems, complex histories, and daily life stressors. So we look at the whole picture. Therapy with me is a collaborative process. I’ll offer perspective, tools, and reflection—but you set the pace, and we work from your values. Whether you’re rebuilding , untangling a long-standing pattern, or simply needing space to think things through, we’ll work together to make therapy practical, respectful, and useful.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a grounded, honest space where we focus on clarity, growth, and practical change. My sessions are collaborative, and we’ll work together to set meaningful goals, and explore strategies that fit your life. I aim to help you leave each session with greater insight, steadier footing, and tools you can use outside the therapy room.
