Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Stefanie, and I'm so glad you're here! In my work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I value creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, empowering, and tailored to you! Through my experiences, education, and advanced fellowship training, I've gained insightful experience working with individuals, couples, and families as they navigate trauma, life transitions, and challenges with anxiety and depression.

Using multiple approaches including EMDR, IFS (also known as Parts work), CBT, attachment and somatic-based interventions, we'll work together to better understand your unique experiences as we build meaningful pathways towards lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should move at a pace that feels safe and supportive - meeting you where you are along your journey. My approach to treatment is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I draw from EMDR, IFS (Parts work), cognitive-behavioral, and trauma-informed frameworks, as well as somatic and attachment-based interventions. Together, we will focus on understanding patterns, building insight, and developing practical tools that support emotional regulation, resilience, and self-compassion.

I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.

What you can expect from me

Our first session together doesn't come with expectations! There's no pressure to share more than you're ready for - the goal is to create a supportive starting point that feels respectful and collaborative. This session will create an opportunity for us to get to know one another and to begin building a sense of comfort and familiarity within the therapeutic relationship. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns that you may have about the process. We'll address your questions and discuss the next steps, giving you an idea of what to expect moving forward.
