Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP-C) with experience caring for adults in both primary care and mental health settings. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Capella University and completed my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training at Walden University.

Throughout my career, I have worked with adults facing a wide range of physical and mental health challenges. My experience in primary care has allowed me to care for many individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, sleep difficulties, and other mental health concerns, while also understanding how medical conditions can affect emotional well-being.

I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for adults. I believe in building trusting relationships with my clients and creating a safe, respectful environment where they feel comfortable discussing their concerns. My goal is to help each person develop a treatment plan that supports improved mental health, daily functioning, and overall quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is simple: I listen first. I believe every person has a unique story, and I take the time to understand what is going on in their life before making treatment recommendations.

I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns. I believe treatment works best when there is trust, open communication, and a shared understanding of goals. I encourage my clients to be active participants in their care and to ask questions along the way.

My goal is to provide a supportive and comfortable environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we develop a treatment plan that may include medication management, education, coping skills, and practical strategies to help improve daily functioning and overall well-being.

I believe mental health care should be compassionate, individualized, and focused on helping people live healthier and more fulfilling lives.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you in for care. I will ask questions about your symptoms, mental health history, medical history, and any concerns you would like to address.

This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share your goals for treatment. My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where you feel heard and understood.

By the end of the visit, we will discuss a treatment plan and the next steps to help you move forward.
