Great to meet you!

As an LPC, I approach therapy through a functional lens—helping you understand what your behaviors are trying to do for you, and why certain patterns feel so hard to break. I work most often with Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, and Personality Disorders, supporting clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start. I bring experience from both outpatient and inpatient settings, and I’m skilled at translating psychological ideas into something you can actually use in your day‐to‐day life. My goal is to help you build insight, feel more grounded, and move toward healthier, more intentional patterns.

My approach to therapy

I take an active, collaborative approach to therapy, blending ACT, CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic trauma work to help you understand both the function and the origin of your patterns. I’m blunt in the ways that build clarity, compassionate in the ways that build safety, and always transparent about why I’m using a particular intervention. I explain the “why” behind every strategy so you’re not just doing the work—you understand it. When requested and appropriate, I integrate Christian faith in a way that supports your values and deepens the therapeutic process. My goal is to create a space where honesty, insight, and practical tools come together to create real, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a structured clinical intake where we review informed consent, go over policies, and make space for any questions or concerns you have. I’ll ask about your history, your goals, and what’s brought you to therapy so I can understand the patterns you’re navigating. I’m honest about fit from the start—if I’m not the right clinician for your needs, I’ll help you find someone who is. You can expect clarity, direction, and a grounded sense of what our work together will look like moving forward.
