Great to meet you!
Having a social worker as your therapist means having someone in your corner who understands your inner thoughts and feelings are connected to the systems you interact with- family, friends, community, and society.

My style of therapy feels like a warm conversation between friends two friends, infused with an eclectic mix of therapeutic techniques that are personalized to your needs. Our relationship will be a safe place to challenge old relationship patterns and coping skills that might’ve helped you in the past but no longer serve you going forward.
Showing up for your first session is a big step! I will begin to get to know you and what led you to seek out therapy. We will build on your strengths and start to identify some goals- what do you want to get out of this? Now is the time to identify what works for you- are you looking for a safe space to vent, a more instructive style that reinforces new techniques to use in the wild, or a mix of both?
