Great to meet you!

I bring over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, with a background in inpatient psychiatric acute care, residential treatment, and outpatient mental health settings. Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions.

I work with clients who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, stressed, or unsure how to move forward. You might be struggling with relationship challenges, low motivation, grief, or difficulty managing emotions. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and working toward meaningful change.

With extensive experience across levels of care, I understand that healing looks different for everyone. I focus on helping you build coping skills, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop healthier patterns that support long-term stability and well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on building a strong therapeutic relationship. I believe rapport and trust are essential to meaningful progress, and I strive to create a supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and respected.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. Together, we explore patterns that may be contributing to distress, increase self-awareness, and develop practical tools to improve daily functioning. My approach is tailored to your individual needs, helping you build confidence, improve emotional balance, and move toward lasting change.

I prioritize mental health and believe that developing healthy coping skills and emotional insight can lead to greater stability, improved relationships, and overall life satisfaction.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know one another and understanding what brought you to therapy. You’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences, concerns, and goals in a supportive, pressure-free environment. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, or feeling overwhelmed, we’ll begin identifying what support looks like for you.

I encourage clients to ask questions and make sure therapy feels like a good fit. Together, we’ll begin exploring your goals and discussing next steps. My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path forward.
