Great to meet you!

Great to meet you!As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe that a healthy relationship with yourself is the foundation for a good life. While I've worked across many demographics, my practice now focuses primarily on adult individuals navigating anxiety, relationship and intimacy concerns, trauma, and major life or identity transitions. I'd be glad to help you find steadier ground, whatever that looks like for you.

My approach to therapy

I'm a certified LGBTQIA+ specialist and sex therapy specialist, trained in CBT+ and Trauma-Focused CBT, with a strong background in couples work and an integrative approach that also draws on EFT, IFS, somatic and polyvagal-informed work, and ACT.

What you can expect from me

Research suggests that most clients have a sense of whether a therapist feels like the right fit within the very first few minutes of that first session so I put real care into creating a space that feels warm, collaborative, and free of judgment from the start. Rather than walking in with a fixed treatment plan, our first session together is about co-constructing what therapy needs to look like for you. By the end of that first session, my hope is that you leave with a clearer sense of what we're working toward together and a felt sense of safety and being understood, which research shows is one of the strongest predictors of therapy actually working.
