Great to meet you!

I'm Tesa, and I have a passion for helping others learn to love and believe in themselves. I am a military spouse and Licensed Clinical Social Worker with almost a decade of experience in working with individuals using a strengths- based approach through the use of empathy and unconditional, positive regard.

My approach to therapy

I truly believe the therapeutic relationship is a key component in achieving your overall goals. My clinical experience includes working with the adult population, military culture, and other mental health issues. My therapy style is integrative with a focus on psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral theories as well as the use of mindfulness and motivational interviewing. We will use a collaborative, person- centered approach that is tailored to meet your needs.

What you can expect from me

The place you are in now, doesn’t have to be where you dwell forever. I recognize asking for help is not easy. I hope that by creating a safe, supportive therapeutic environment, clients can learn to redefine dysfunctional boundaries, to reconnect with a sense of meaning for their lives, and feel empowered and capable to make lasting changes for themselves and in their relationships.
