Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of healthcare experience, dedicated to helping adolescents, adults, and older adults navigate life's mental health challenges. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, panic disorders, sleep concerns, PTSD, and OCD through a compassionate, individualized approach. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in your mental health journey. I believe meaningful progress begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and open communication.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, direct, and empowering. I believe that effective mental health care looks beyond symptoms and focuses on the whole person. I work collaboratively with clients to understand their unique experiences, identify treatment goals, and develop personalized care plans that support lasting well-being. My practice incorporates evidence-based treatment, medication management when appropriate, and principles of Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy to help clients build healthier thought patterns, strengthen relationships, and improve daily functioning. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, sleep difficulties, or trauma-related concerns, I strive to provide care that is compassionate, practical, and tailored to your individual needs.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll take time to get to know one another and discuss what brought you to treatment. I'll ask questions about your symptoms, personal history, current stressors, and goals for care so I can gain a comprehensive understanding of your needs. Together, we'll identify priorities and begin developing a treatment plan that feels realistic and aligned with your goals. Most importantly, you can expect a judgment-free space where you can speak openly, ask questions, and feel supported as we begin working toward improved mental health and overall wellness.
