Great to meet you!

Real change requires more than just talking, it requires intention, insight, and the right support. With over 40 years of experience as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and clinical leader, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals, families, and adolescents navigate life’s most complex challenges, including trauma, anxiety, stress, grief, depression, and family conflict. My approach is compassionate, structured, and results-driven, grounded in evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Clients often experience me as warm, grounded, and direct, someone who creates a safe, nonjudgmental space while also helping them identify patterns, build insight, and take meaningful steps forward. I don’t believe in surface-level conversations; I believe therapy should lead to real, lasting progress. I am fully invested in your growth, meeting you where you are while also gently challenging you toward greater clarity, confidence, and empowerment. If you are ready to do the work, I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, structured, and results-oriented, creating a safe space where you feel heard and supported. I utilize a combination of evidence-based practices, uniquely tailored to each client, to help you understand patterns, manage emotions, and develop practical coping strategies. I balance warmth with directness, offering both support and gentle challenge to encourage accountability and growth. I believe therapy should go beyond conversation and lead to real, meaningful change. My goal is to help you build clarity, confidence, and the tools needed to move forward in a healthier, more empowered way.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is not just an introduction, it’s the beginning of meaningful change. From the moment we start, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard, without pressure or judgment. We will explore what brings you to therapy at your pace, while also beginning to identify patterns, concerns, and the outcomes you want for your life.

You can expect a balance of compassion and direction, I will listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help you start connecting the dots between your experiences, thoughts, and emotions. Together, we will begin outlining clear, realistic goals and identify practical steps you can take moving forward. Many clients leave the first session feeling a sense of relief, clarity, and hope, knowing they are no longer navigating things alone.

Most importantly, you can expect to feel supported, understood, and empowered as we begin building a path toward real, lasting change.
