Great to meet you!

I have experience working with adults from diverse cultural backgrounds in both outpatient and inpatient mental health settings. Having lived in different countries myself, I value the unique experiences, identities, and perspectives that each person brings into therapy.

I believe that everyone has strengths, resilience, and the capacity to build a meaningful life, even during difficult times. My role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make the changes that matter to you. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy painting and spending time with my two cats, which helps me stay grounded and connected to creativity and balance in my own life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop practical skills, gain insight into patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and move toward a life that aligns with their values.

I believe therapy works best when we have a shared understanding of what you hope to gain from the process. Together, we will identify meaningful goals and create a plan that fits your unique needs. If you're not sure what your goals are yet, that's completely okay—we can spend time exploring what's most important to you and what you would like to be different in your life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy at this point in your life. We'll discuss your motivations for seeking therapy, your expectations for treatment, and the concerns that are impacting you most right now.

I will also want to learn about your background, important life experiences, relationships, strengths, and challenges so I can better understand the bigger picture of your story. The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether I feel like a good fit for your needs. Together, we'll begin identifying priorities and discussing what you hope to achieve through therapy.
