Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist with extensive clinical experience of working with individuals and families in both community and private practice settings. I provide virtual/in-person individual psychotherapy in both English and Mandarin. I currently have Wednesday afternoon slots for new clients. Please schedule a phone consultation to explore.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in using an integrative approach with an emphasis on psychodynamic perspectives to guide you move beyond the surface level and explore deeper into your internal world. I use a neutral, warm and nonjudgmental stance to understand you and your presenting concerns. We will examine past experience and current events together to support you and expand your capacity to cope with stress.

What you can expect from me

I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of good therapy. I work collaboratively with you to create a safe space for deeper self-exploration. While the presenting issues can be heavy, we will work together to find the "playfulness" in the therapeutic process. I want to support and challenge you to increase insight to apply in your life.
