Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Zane! Starting therapy can feel both daunting and exciting, and I want you to give yourself credit for having the courage to take that first step. My path to mental healthcare is a personal one: having watched loved ones struggle with addiction, I felt the helplessness of not having the skills to help. That experience led me to change careers and dedicate my work to helping others build the skills they need to live healthy, meaningful lives. Today, I find it tremendously rewarding to walk alongside clients as they do exactly that.

My approach to therapy

I bring an approachable, outcome-oriented style to every session, using humor when appropriate and a pragmatic, down-to-earth perspective. Transparent and honest communication is at the core of my practice. I listen to understand, not to judge. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Theory, Motivational Interviewing, and Imago Relationship Therapy to tailor a treatment approach that gives you real, usable tools to reach your goals. I believe in setting realistic, clearly defined goals and focusing on what you can control, so progress feels achievable rather than overwhelming.

What you can expect from me

I work with individual adults, couples, and families navigating a wide range of challenges including addiction, depression, unhealthy relationships, alcohol use, anxiety, grief, career transitions, codependency, and finding meaning. I have a particular focus on couples working through communication breakdowns, affairs, or the possibility of divorce. I also have experience supporting educators, first responders, members of the LGBTQ+ community, single mothers, and those in recovery.
