Great to meet you!

I am a clinical psychologist licensed in Maryland. I obtained my doctoral degree in clinical psychology (PsyD) from George Washington University and hold a bachelor's degree in psychology from New York University. Since completing my doctoral internship at Pennsylvania Hospital and my postdoctoral training at the Kennedy Krieger Institute's Child and Family Therapy Clinic, I have been working as a full-time psychologist in private practice.

My approach to therapy

Empathy, warmth, and compassion are personal attributes that I bring to my role as a clinical psychologist. I draw upon an integrative psychotherapeutic framework when helping clients navigate life stressors, and guide them in fostering a better understanding of self, relationships, and the context in which they live. My lived experience and sensitivity to diversity issues have enabled me to treat clients for whom these matters are important with the care, respect, and competence they deserve.

What you can expect from me

During sessions, I pay close attention to and open-mindedly explore themes and patterns in my client’s self-perception, relationships, developmental history, coping methods for difficult thoughts and emotions, values, and goals in life. My approach emphasizes making the client feel heard in a safe and nonjudgmental environment.
