Great to meet you!

As a board certified and state licensed art therapist, I believe that you know yourself best and everyone's journey is different. I’ve been in the mental health field since 2015. Most of my work has been with people diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar, anxiety, and depression. Most recently I have had more sessions pertaining to ADHD, relationship conflicts, and grief. Let's learn and grow together.

My approach to therapy

Honesty is key for me. That means you to me but almost more importantly you to yourself. I want to meet you where you're at. That may mean a friendly ear, a problem solver, or a space to create and leave the talking at a minimum. It's also ok if you don't feel you know what you need. We can try things and you let me know what feels like it's working and what isn't. I'm you're partner in your healing.

What you can expect from me

Initially it may be a teaching experience. Not everyone knows what it is like to be in therapy. I will prompt here and there, but if you know exactly what you want to cover, I will step aside and be the Robin to your Batman. After some time, and possibly life changes, we can reassess your goals. The space is what you make it. You may find that when you don't have the words I will ask us to try art, movement, and music.
