Hi, I’m Ashley, and I’m glad you’re here.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with over six years of mental health experience across inpatient psychiatry, community mental health, and private practice settings. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals through a wide range of challenges while collaborating with psychiatrists, medical providers, and multidisciplinary treatment teams.

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding the right therapist matters. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely understood. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as your authentic self and work toward meaningful change.

I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, low self-esteem, codependency, people-pleasing, relationship concerns, communication challenges, boundary-setting difficulties, and trauma-related symptoms. I am passionate about helping clients develop healthier relationships with themselves and others while building confidence, resilience, and self-compassion.

Clients often describe me as warm, relatable, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy doesn’t require perfection—just a willingness to take the next step.

As a bonus, my Goldendoodle, Ellie, may occasionally join sessions. Her calm and friendly presence often brings additional comfort and connection to the therapeutic process.

My approach to therapy

I take a warm, collaborative, and person-centered approach to therapy. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel genuinely supported and understood. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions, I help clients develop practical skills, gain insight into unhelpful patterns, and build a life that feels more aligned with their values and goals.

If used correctly, I am not shy when it comes to self-disclosure, I've found many of my clients have met their therapy goals quicker when they feel their therapist has experienced similar experiences. My goal is for you to feel we are both human beings who both have real human experiences and the main difference between us is I wen to school to be the person I needed when I was younger.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, and identifying your goals for treatment. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background and current challenges while creating a safe, supportive space for you to share at your own pace. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path forward.
