Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and certified School Counselor with over 17 years of experience in education, including working in special education and behavior classrooms supporting students with autism spectrum disorders and emotional or behavioral challenges. My background has given me a deep understanding of how unique every individual’s journey is, and I approach counseling with patience, compassion, and respect for each person’s strengths.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, families, and individuals, and I believe strongly in the power of growth, goal-setting, and resilience. I also recognize that everyone needs support at times to reach their full potential, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges and discover their own capacity for change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered approaches, while also incorporating strategies that build on strengths and promote resilience. I believe in meeting clients where they are, helping them set realistic goals, and empowering them to develop practical skills they can use beyond the counseling room.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a safe, nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard and understood. Together, we’ll work on identifying challenges, building coping strategies, and fostering growth. My goal is for clients to leave sessions feeling more confident, supported, and equipped with tools they can use in daily life. Over time, clients often find that they gain greater clarity, stronger problem-solving skills, and a renewed sense of hope and direction.
