Hi! I'm Katie, and I am a Certified Brainspotting Therapist.

I love helping women unlock their potential in wherever they may be in life. I specialize in providing support and healing for women who have experienced birth trauma, miscarriage, infertility, postpartum depression/anxiety, and perinatal mental health challenges. I also support moms as the navigate all the ups and downs of motherhood.

I’m an LCSW who has been practicing in various roles within the counseling and social work industries for years. I have worked with children and families, adults to seniors, and even at a pain clinic. It’s these settings that have prepared me to see counseling from a well-rounded viewpoint. I enjoy working with the “usual suspects” of anxiety, depression, stress, and difficult relationships but have a heart for helping those in chronic pain or with chronic illness due to my own struggles.

I am passionate about counseling because I love seeing a client find hope, relief, and realize their own strength and resiliency. I desire to create an accepting, warm environment where clients can feel safe to be themselves and work on their personal struggles without feelings of shame or guilt.

As a licensed professional counselor, I provide compassionate, individualized psychotherapy for teens, adults, and couples. I have now been a therapist for 20 years and I really enjoy the work I do and consider it such an honor to be part of a client's journey in healing and self improvement.

I am a graduate of the University of North Texas with a dual Bachelors in Education and Psychology. I also served in the United States Marine Corps while completing my undergraduate studies. I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Dr. Wright is a child psychiatrist, who can treat children, adolescents, and adults. He is able to do individual-based treatment or family-based treatment.

Dr. Wright has education and medical training from Stanford University, The University of Texas System, and the University of Michigan.

In addition to services at the offices in Southlake and Plano, Texas, Dr. Wright also offers the option of telepsychiatry to patients located anywhere in Texas.
