If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with ADHD, managing stress at school or work, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, you're not alone. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, frustrated, or unsure how to move forward. Others are navigating family conflict, life transitions, low self-confidence, or challenges managing emotions and daily responsibilities.

Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provide a supportive space where you can feel heard and understood while also being challenged to grow. My goal is to help you better understand what's getting in the way, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that help you feel more confident, capable, and in control of your life.

So much of my work is rooted in one question: what happens when we stop trusting ourselves? For me, that question became very personal.

After the birth of my first child, I found myself carrying not only physical pain but a deep sense of disconnection. I was listening to every voice but my own — questioning my body, my instincts, my inner wisdom. It was disorienting in a way I hadn't expected.

With my second child, something shifted. The experience felt empowering, attuned, and deeply mine. I listened inward. I trusted my body. And I witnessed firsthand just how intelligent and wise the body truly is when we feel safe enough to connect with it.

That journey brought me back to something foundational — the body knows. Our minds and bodies are constantly communicating with us. But life has a way of teaching us to override those signals. Trauma, stress, cultural conditioning, the pressure to hold it all together — they all teach us to ignore our inner knowing. Healing, I believe, is often about learning to listen again. It's a homecoming.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Army veteran, I specialize in working with young African American veterans who are navigating depression, anxiety, military transition, identity shifts, and the challenges of civilian life. I understand that life after service is not always straightforward. Many people, including veterans, find themselves struggling with purpose, relationships, career decisions, and mental health concerns while trying to adjust to a new chapter.

As a female veteran, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. Those experiences help me create a space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered.

Find the right therapist for you

Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Wichita Falls

Searching for therapists in Wichita Falls starts with understanding what kind of support you want. Therapists and counselors can help with concerns like anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, and life changes. As you compare options, look for a therapist whose listed specialties and approach match what you want to work on. Their bio may mention styles like cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, family therapy, or marriage counseling, which can help you decide whether their experience fits your needs.

In a smaller city like Wichita Falls, local appointment options may vary by schedule, specialty, and office location. Virtual therapy can expand your search while still connecting you with a therapist licensed in Texas. Some people prefer meeting in person, while others choose virtual sessions because they fit more easily into work, school, or caregiving schedules. Before booking, review each therapist’s availability, whether they are accepting new patients, and how they describe their session style.

Therapy in Wichita Falls can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to lower session costs and understand what you may pay before care begins. Headway helps you find therapists who match your preferences and offer upfront cost estimates after you enter your insurance details to confirm coverage for your plan and location. You can browse profiles, compare fit, and book directly when you’re ready.

If you're experiencing or worried about violence, threats, or coercion in your relationship, couples therapy isn't usually the right starting point — individual support is safer. The National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788\) can help you think through next steps.

If anyone in your family is experiencing or worried about abuse, threats, or coercion, joint family or couples therapy usually isn't the right starting point — individual support is safer. The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline (1-800-422-4453) and National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788\) can help you think through next steps.
