I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy to adults virtually throughout the state of Texas and in-person at my office in far west Houston, Texas. My approach is collaborative and I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for clients to express feelings openly. Sessions are tailored to address each client’s unique needs. I believe each client possesses inner strengths that, when nurtured and encouraged, can lead to healing and improved ability to cope.
I have two decades of clinical experience working with individuals of all ages who are responding to chronic or terminal illnesses, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation. Since 2014, I have taught Grief and Bereavement Therapy at the University of Houston and have lectured on this topic throughout the greater Houston area.
Personally, I am a native of Philadelphia, but as they say, I got to Texas as fast as I could! My husband and I have made Texas our home for nearly 25 years, settling in West Houston where we raised our two children who are now both in college. With our nest now empty, we are enjoying the quiet but sometimes chaotic company of our dog and two cats!
