Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Chad Starrak, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Questline Counseling. I specialize in EMDR therapy and trauma-informed care, helping individuals navigate life transitions, anxiety, chronic stress, and performance blocks. With a background in school social work and a deep interest in the intersection of neuroscience, music, and healing, my approach is eclectic, evidence-based, and client-centered.

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and have completed advanced training in EMDR, with a focus on adapting it for ADHD, chronic pain, and peak performance. My practice is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and a belief in each person’s capacity for growth and transformation. Whether you're seeking deep healing or simply need support through a tough chapter, I’m here to walk alongside you.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, relational, and tailored to each client’s unique goals and strengths. I blend EMDR with other evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and parts work to create a flexible, responsive healing space. I also draw from Attachment Theory, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Systems Thinking to help clients understand not just what they’re experiencing, but why.

Sessions with me are structured but conversational—I offer both challenge and compassion. I believe that transformation happens when we feel seen and supported, and I work to create a space where insight, healing, and practical progress can unfold.

I specialize in helping individuals work through trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, and identity-related struggles. I also support creatives, caregivers, and professionals who feel stuck or burnt out. Whether you’re working through past pain or building toward future potential, therapy with me is about reclaiming your inner clarity, confidence, and direction.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to walk away from sessions with greater self-awareness, practical tools for emotional regulation, and a deeper connection to their own inner wisdom. My goal is to help you not just cope—but truly heal—by resolving root causes of distress, not just managing symptoms.

I aim to create a space that feels grounded, safe, and even a little transformative—where your story is honored and your strengths are brought into focus. Over time, clients often report feeling more confident, less reactive, and better able to navigate relationships, decisions, and stress with clarity and intention.

Whether we’re working on trauma, anxiety, grief, or performance issues, the process is always guided by your goals, your pace, and your readiness for change. Together, we’ll build a path forward that feels aligned with who you are and who you’re becoming.
