Great to meet you!

I was 15 when I started working as a helper, and believe this is what I'm called to do. I've cared for elderly people, worked in group homes with dual diagnosed adults, and counseled behaviorally challenged adolescents. I've worked in the schools counseling students at the elementary and middle school level. I enjoy working with adults as well. What you share with me is held with the utmost regard and respect.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In therapy, I offer a warm, relational, strength-based approach to counseling, believing whole-heartedly that each story is precious and meant to be heard and regarded. I enjoy supporting children, teens, adults and families in developing positive ways to interact with one another and the world around them. My training is diverse and eclectic.

What you can expect from our first session

I know I grow best when information is practical, down to earth, and delivered with compassion, knowledge, humor, and understanding. These are the things I try to offer to each of my clients. My hope is that the time we spend together will feel comfortable, natural, and leave you feeling truly at ease with the counseling relationship.
