Great to meet you!

Trauma and overwhelming life experiences can leave us feeling stuck, disconnected and distant from the life we want to live. Symptoms are often natural responses to painful circumstances that limit access to clarity, resilience and connection. I offer a trauma-informed, attachment centered approach, grounded in curiosity, authenticity and genuine human connection. Therapy is a co-created space, where we better understand your experiences, reconnect with a deeper sense of self, and move toward greater freedom, meaning, and emotional clarity.

My clinical interests include trauma work, identity development, nervous system regulation, LGBTQIA+ issues, and attachment concerns. I especially enjoy supporting clients exploring who they are, how past experiences shaped them, and what they want moving forward. I also supervise pre-doctoral interns as a faculty psychologist at San Diego State University.

My approach to therapy

I hold a trauma-informed approach grounded in neuroscience, attachment work, multicultural frameworks, IFS and existential therapy. I am also certified in EMDR. I help clients move beyond understanding into practical change and work well with young professionals, athletes and those who are facing life transitions and/or healing past traumas.

What you can expect from me

Our first therapy session is a chance for us to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore your goals in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space. We'll review your history, current concerns, and any questions you have, while moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. By the end of the session, you'll have a clearer understanding of the therapeutic process and we'll begin creating a plan tailored to your unique needs and goals.
