D'Anna Sims

As a board approved supervisor and licensed professional counselor, I strive to provide compassionate support to facilitate trust and growth. I have been practicing for 15 years, and over the last 5 years I've shifted my focus toward working with people who have experienced trauma.

I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). My approach incorporates trauma-informed, cognitive behavioral, and solution-focused therapy.

I have experience helping individuals who are facing grief, loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and parenting concerns. I am passionate about walking with people who are going through the grief process resulting from any type of loss.

In the first session, we will discuss what you would like to accomplish in therapy and work together to figure this out! I hope to create a warm environment as you identify goals that are most imporant to you.
