Great to meet you!

I believe therapy is most effective when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment while also challenging patterns that may no longer serve you. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, attachment wounds, difficulty setting boundaries, and the lasting impact of childhood experiences. Together, we'll explore how these patterns developed, strengthen your self-understanding, and build practical skills that support meaningful, lasting change.

I earned my Master's degree in Counseling, am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and Certified EMDR Therapist. I use evidence-based approaches, like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), along with other therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique needs. My work is informed by attachment theory and trauma-trained principles. I also provide therapy in both English and Spanish.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, lighthearted collaborative, and practical. I believe lasting change comes from understanding both why certain patterns developed and how to create healthier ways of responding in the present. Therapy isn't just about talking through problems—it's about gaining insight, learning effective coping strategies, and developing skills that help you move forward with confidence.

I draw from evidence-based approaches, like EMDR, while considering how early relationships, attachment experiences, and life circumstances continue to shape emotions, beliefs, and behaviors. Together, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

My goal is for therapy to help you better understand yourself and leave each session with something meaningful to reflect on or apply in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, begin building trust, and create a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently experiencing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I’ll ask questions about your background, relationships, experiences, and current stressors to better understand your story and what you need, but there is no pressure to share everything right away. Therapy is a process, and we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

*

By the end of our first session, my hope is that you leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together toward growth, healing, and meaningful change.
