Great to meet you!

Over twenty five years ago I made a major change in my life that lead me to pursue a Masters degree in Counseling and licensure as a Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist. This opened the door to 20 years of private practice walking alongside all kinds of people trying to improve their lives and move through challenging seasons. It remains my goal to serve others, offering support, encouragement, and insight as we work together to reach their goals.

My approach to therapy

It is my hope that all people who participate in counseling would come to know themselves better and discover solutions to their concerns through our work together. I believe that most people already know what they need, they just haven't been able to implement that need in their life. To help clients reach their goals I use systems theories, validation, encouragement, and Solution Focused techniques. I am also an Ordained Minister and enjoy including a person's faith traditions and practice.

What you can expect from me

It is most important to me that clients feel heard and understood. I want all of them to leave with greater insight into themselves, their circumstances, and solutions to implement involving their thought life and their behaviors.
