Hello! I am a licensed professional counselor with specialty training in trauma, eating disorders and perinatal mood disorders. It is my deepest joy to partner with clients and support whole-person healing. Whether you've experienced infertility, a traumatic or unexpected birthing experience, childhood trauma or an eating disorder, I will hold space for your experiences and foster an environment for you to grow and heal.
I am often described as warm, empathic, gentle and patient. I draw from attachment theory, relational cultural theory, internal family systems theory and other approaches which support clients in becoming more embodied (a human "being" rather than human "doing").
My primary goal as a therapist is to cultivate a space where you feel comfortable bringing your entire self, even the messy, aching, unliked pieces that you may be hiding away. When you can know your whole being is accepted and welcomed, I truly believe healing can happen.
We'll work together to set goals that may include "homework" or specific things to experiment with outside of an appointment rooted in curiosity, compassion, and self-awareness.
