Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in PA. I have worked in the field for seven years and have been trained in various therapeutic modalities, including TF-CBT, CBT, ERP, BFRB, ACT, Motivational interviewing, CPT, and PE. I specialize in trauma and anxiety disorders.

I unexpectedly began the journey to become a therapist when I accepted a job as a client coordinator at a non-profit organization that worked exclusively with childhood sexual abuse survivors. I quickly fell in love with the clients and supportive staff and decided to return to school to earn my master's degree in clinical social work. I was a single mom and 40 years old when this new adventure began. It was the best decision of my life. I am humbled to support my clients as they share their most vulnerable selves. Watching positive change happen in their lives as we work together is an immeasurable gift.

My approach to therapy

I love working with clients who are ready to lean into the process of change. My goal is to create a trusting, therapeutic relationship and a safe space for sharing without judgment. I guide clients through the ups and downs of the healing process. Many of my clients need help learning healthy boundaries, coping skills, and processing skills. I tailor my therapeutic techniques to the individual client by considering their goals and values. Being a trauma specialist has been helpful with all of my clients. By understanding the complexities of how our brains make connections, I teach clients why behaviors have developed and how to rewire their brains. Anxiety, depression, unprocessed trauma, and unhealthy relationships keep us stuck. I work with my clients to create movement toward their goals and to help them feel empowered.

What you can expect from me

I value every person and their experiences and strive to create a safe space. I understand the importance of being authentic with my clients to create a real connection. I collaborate with them to set goals and provide helpful first steps on the journey to change.
