Great to meet you!

Hello! Let's be real, so many people live their lives day-to-day, bottling up those hard-to-deal-with emotions or struggling to find stability with regulating themselves in a healthy, productive manner. I believe that through therapy, one can receive the emotional/mental support to achieve the goal of living a true, authentic life. The goal here is not perfection, but to at least begin moving towards a life you actually enjoy. It's time to be who you are truly meant to be.

My approach to therapy

I take a humanistic approach to therapy to assist you in learning, recognizing, and coping with specific mental health disorders or different stressful life events. I will bring a few different lenses to the counseling space, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques.

What you can expect from me

Starting with the first session, I aim to introduce you to a therapist who genuinely wants to understand you as a person. I want to know your story. I want to know your current struggles. I want to allow you to feel heard and attended to, which may be the first time ever for some. It's important that the building rapport process starts well as the therapeutic relationship will be a strong piece of the foundation we'll begin building together. The goal of the first session is to make sure that we match well as people and begin building the plan for the best way we can address your needs.
