I am an LPC with 15 years in the mental health field. I am a Virginia native, and the father of two amazing boys. I am passionate about helping people find hope and healing, and consider it an honor to be a witness to others' stories. I have experience with a wide range of clients, and enjoy working with others around faith-based issues, LGBTQIA+ experiences, relational difficulties, anxiety and depression. Ps... I regularly see my own counselor too...

I like to us a mix of therapy types depending on the needs of the client I'm serving. I most often use elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness and Art Therapy.

One of the main goals I have for my clients is to develop/sustain hope. Sometimes I have to carry that for them until they can carry it for themselves. I feel like hope is the fuel needed for the hard work that often happens in counseling.
