Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in North Carolina with seven years of experience. I graduated with Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lee University, AAMFT accredited program. For undergrad, I majored in Marketing with emphasis on corporate sales. I have worked in men’s custom clothing, digital media sales, and online marketing for eight years prior to returning to graduate school.

My approach to therapy

My approach is attachment based psychoanalysis with a trauma focus approach. All humans have the basic fundamental needs for love. Our beliefs, feelings, behavioral patterns, and relational dynamics are driven by attachment styles. We work to make the subconscious conscious, identify how your attachment reinforces your choices. Whatever you are going through right now is multi-causal and multi-maintained. When we are stuck as old ways of being no longer serve you this is the signal to evolve.

What you can expect from me

Dysfunction presents itself differently for everyone. You may feel you are having the same outcomes or relationships and you are. We work together to understand whys and the subconscious attempts to work through. In our sessions, you can expect to have conversations and breakthroughs. Therapy can be challenging and I am with you. I like to add humor when appropriate, come up for air, speak your defense mechanism. You already have everything you need to overcome, let’s figure out your Truth.
