Hello! I am a trauma-focused Licensed Professional Counselor who has her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Although I focus largely on complex and typical PTSD, I find that there is often generous overlap with mental health issues, addictions, and personality disorders.
I apply trauma-informed, queer, feminist, & anti-oppressive lenses as I incorporate harm reduction principles into my practice, which is sex, kink, polyamory, body, & LGBTQIA+ positive. My clients seek support for lifestyle design, behavior change, childhood trauma, identity+sexuality, gender affirming care, attachment issues, relationships, & substance use/abuse. Learning & problem-solving are often integrated into a collaborative therapeutic journey that uses the past to address the present.
I seek to provide a warm, safe environment that supports curiosity, compassion, creativity, and connectedness. We can use the time to address current issues, explore past experiences, or practice skills necessary to process and heal from trauma. Sometimes that looks like education, sometimes that looks like practicing mindfulness, and sometimes that even looks like laughter and movement.
