PhD, Licensed clinician treating adult addiction, mental health, and trauma for 30 years, as well as an adjunct graduate faculty professor, clinical Directorships and Supervisor.
I help people understand the patterns in their lives, build healthy boundaries, and make clear, confident choices. My style is straightforward and practical — we look at what’s happening in your world, how it affects you, and what you can do differently starting now. I focus on strengthening your sense of self, reducing stress and reactivity, and giving you tools you can actually use in everyday situations. Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and grounded in real‐life change, not vague theory or judgment.
In your first session, you can expect a calm, conversational meeting where we get to know each other and begin clarifying what brings you in. I’ll ask a few guiding questions about your goals, your history, and what you’d like to change or strengthen, but there’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready. Together, we’ll outline a clear direction for your work—what you want, what feels manageable right now, and what support looks like for you. By the end of the session, you’ll have a sense of the process, the pace, and the next steps, so you leave feeling grounded, understood, and not alone in the work ahead.
