Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Johanna! I’m a psychotherapist with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and experience in crisis stabilization, substance use recovery, and outpatient therapy. I’m passionate about helping adults navigate life’s ups and downs, whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. My style is warm, collaborative, and supportive—I’ll meet you where you are and work alongside you to build insight, develop healthier coping strategies, and create a more balanced, fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is all about creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and life experiences without fear of judgment. I often draw from existential therapy to help you find meaning and purpose, while using tools from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to manage life’s challenges in practical, effective ways. I also incorporate gentle somatic awareness practices to help you reconnect with your body and regulate your emotions. Together, we’ll focus on deepening your self-understanding, building healthier coping strategies, and creating lasting, meaningful change that aligns with the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they feel truly heard and understood. My goal is to help you gain clarity, self-awareness, and practical tools to manage life’s challenges more effectively. Together, we’ll work on building healthier coping strategies, strengthening emotional resilience, and creating a deeper sense of balance, fulfillment, and purpose in your life.
