Great to meet you!

I primarily work with men and older teenage boys (17+) dealing with anxiety, emotional shutdown, anger, panic, burnout, shame, relationship struggles, trauma, or a constant feeling of being stuck in survival mode. Many of my clients are highly self-aware but still feel trapped repeating the same patterns despite understanding themselves intellectually.

My style is direct, grounded, and practical without becoming cold or overly clinical. I work especially well with clients who are tired of vague therapy conversations and want help understanding what is actually driving the problem beneath the surface. I’ve worked in settings ranging from emergency rooms to juvenile facilities, and those experiences shaped a therapy style focused on clarity, accountability, emotional honesty, and meaningful forward movement.

My approach to therapy

My approach is individualized, psychologically direct, and focused on helping clients create meaningful change rather than endlessly analyzing the problem. I help people identify the emotional injuries, survival responses, relationship dynamics, and internal conflicts that keep them stuck, then work toward clearer thinking, stronger boundaries, emotional regulation, and practical behavioral change.

Therapy with me is collaborative, but it is also active and engaged. I work especially well with clients who want honesty, structure, insight, and real movement rather than passive validation or surface-level coping strategies. Depending on the client, treatment may focus on trauma, emotional suppression, shame, anxiety, identity, relationships, or long-standing coping patterns that no longer serve them.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on understanding what is actually happening beneath the surface, not just the symptoms, but the pressures, emotions, and coping patterns driving them. Many clients leave the first session feeling clearer, more understood, and more internally organized than they have in a long time.

My goal is not simply to help people talk about problems, but to help them understand themselves more accurately, reduce unnecessary suffering, and create meaningful change in areas where they feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted.
