Great to meet you!

Survivor of a life‐changing surfing accident, I am a person with quadriplegia who turned adversity into expertise—bringing rare lived experience to every therapeutic relationship. For 30 years, I’ve taught and supervised doctoral/Undergraduate‐level clinicians, blending rigorous, evidence‐based practice with deep clinical wisdom. As a board‐certified psychologist, I specialize in anxiety, depression, adjustment, motivation, relationships, and life satisfaction for adults 18+. I’m resilient, goal‐oriented, and compassionate—here to help you build lasting change from an empathetic, expert perspective.

My approach to therapy

I practice an integrative approach rooted primarily in humanistic and cognitive-behavioral principles. I tailor interventions to each client’s needs, combining empathy, collaboration, and practical skills-building to support lasting personal growth and sustainable behavioral change

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where you’re invited to speak openly at your own pace. I’ll listen closely to understand your concerns from your perspective, ask questions to clarify what matters most to you, and collaborate with you to set goals or next steps. Building trust and comfort in the therapeutic relationship is essential — I won’t ask you to change before you feel safe and ready to do so
