Karaine Eziolisa

Hello! My name is Karaine Victoria Eziolisa (pronounced like “Karen”). I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in Ohio. I earned my undergraduate nursing degree as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wright State University in 2015, and later completed my PMHNP degree at Ohio University in 2022.

My journey into mental health was shaped by my experience working in various medical and behavioral health settings, where I discovered a deep passion for supporting individuals through their mental health journeys. Outside of my professional role, I am a wife and a mother of four young children. I enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures, and trying new foods—experiences that have helped me connect with people from diverse backgrounds and better understand the importance of meeting each person where they are.

My approach to care is compassionate, patient-centered, and culturally aware. I believe in meeting clients where they are and working collaboratively to understand their unique experiences, challenges, and goals.

I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves. My focus is on providing individualized care that promotes emotional well-being, builds resilience, and supports long-term mental health. I integrate clinical knowledge with empathy to help clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their journey.

Initial consultations are conducted by our intake team rather than directly with a provider to ensure faster scheduling. During this brief call, our administrative staff will answer general (non-clinical) questions, collect basic information, and help match you with the most appropriate provider.

While you may request a specific provider, pre-appointment consultation calls with clinicians are not available. All clinical discussions, recommendations, and treatment planning will take place during your scheduled appointment.

This process allows us to prioritize direct patient care while offering timely access to services.

During the first session, clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where they can share their story at their own pace. I will take time to learn about your background, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve through treatment.

This initial visit is an opportunity for us to begin building trust and establishing a collaborative relationship. Together, we will start identifying your goals and discuss a plan that feels comfortable and supportive for you moving forward.
