Great to meet you!

My name is Kayla Davis and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I have supported clients who are experiencing grief/bereavement, mass violence loss, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and trauma. I aim to offer a cozy and safe space for individuals to feel heard, seen, and validated in challenging times.

My approach to therapy

I aim towards providing a space that feels cozy, warm, and inviting to allow the ability for authentic sharing. It isn't often we receive the space to release what we have been carrying for so long. Our sessions will focus on providing you that space, while challenging you to find ways to make the changes you seek. I also try to allow clients the ability to express themselves in creative ways through expressive arts in sessions. Whether it is painting, movement, theater, or anything else you deem creative, I incorporate all forms as they seem fitting to offer support towards progress.

What you can expect from me

The hope is for my clients all to feel empowered to make to changes they are seeking. Some days that may be easier than others, however I always seek to offer support (either creative support, coping skills, etc.) for each client in session.
