Great to meet you!

My experience includes, but not limited to, child welfare, severe mental illness, substance use, domestic violence, couples/family counseling, and trauma work. I would like to spend my time hiking, painting, and cooking. I actually spend my time figuring out family logistics, hugging my dog, intense UNO with my family, and documentaries. In short, I love helping people. Together, we will find the door, turn the knob, and we will get you to a place where you can walk through it on you own.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a multitude of modalities that are delivered through talk therapy. I am casually direct with my delivery, with an intended focus on empowerment and change. I often have suggested "homework" that will help guide the best path for you. I truly believe that you drive this journey and my hope is that we close therapy with you knowing that you had the tools all along.

What you can expect from me

The first things that come to mind are clarity, validation, and hope. We will clearly identify obstacles and needs and the individual role in emotional response. I will validate your perspective and challenge you to see alternate perspectives. I strive for individuals to end sessions with more hope that they are making progress in their intended goals.
