Great to meet you!

I believe meaningful change starts with feeling truly seen, heard, and understood. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed by intense emotions, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or unsure of how to move forward—and that’s okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy.

I work with individuals who are navigating challenges like anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, and emotional ups and downs. If you often feel like your emotions are hard to manage or situations become overwhelming quickly, you’re not alone, and there are ways to build more balance and control.

My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment, while also helping you develop the skills to better cope, communicate, and move forward with confidence. Therapy with me is not just about talking, it’s about learning practical tools and creating real, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, personalized, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method—each person’s experiences, goals, and needs are unique, and our work together will reflect that.

I integrate cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you better understand and manage your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. DBT skills are especially helpful for building emotional regulation, increasing distress tolerance, improving relationships, and staying present in the moment.

Together, we’ll focus on both insight and action—helping you understand why patterns exist while also giving you practical tools to handle difficult situations more effectively in your daily life.

I see therapy as a partnership. I’ll meet you with empathy and curiosity, while also gently challenging you when needed so you can grow in ways that feel meaningful, balanced, and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’d like to be different in your life.

You don’t need to have the “right words” or share everything at once—you can go at your own pace. I’ll guide the conversation with thoughtful questions to help us understand your needs, goals, and any patterns you’ve been noticing.

We may also begin identifying specific areas where you’d like more support, such as managing emotions, coping with stress, or improving relationships. If it feels appropriate, I may introduce a few simple skills or strategies you can start using right away.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of how I work, what our next steps might look like, and whether you feel comfortable moving forward together.
