Great to meet you!

If you're someone who has gotten really good at holding everything together yet inside you're exhausted, overwhelmed, or feel stuck—you're not alone. Many of my clients are the people others depend on. They carry the mental load at home, in relationships, or at work, often putting their own needs last.

I specialize in helping adults and older teens heal from trauma, anxiety, low self-worth, and overwhelming life experiences. Whether you're trying to break free from survival mode, recover from painful experiences, or simply understand yourself better, therapy can help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to the life you want to build.

I'm an EMDR-trained therapist with over a decade of experience in crisis intervention and outpatient therapy. I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you don't have to have everything figured out before we begin.

My approach to therapy

Therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating or overly clinical. My style is warm, straightforward, and genuine. I'm not interested in having you come in every week just to vent; I want us to understand what's keeping you stuck and help you make meaningful changes.

I use EMDR, CBT, and DBT to help clients process difficult experiences, regulate overwhelming emotions, and build healthier ways of coping. Together we'll look at how your past may still be influencing the present while developing practical skills you can use in your everyday life.

You'll leave sessions with a deeper understanding of yourself and tools you can actually use outside the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know you and not just what brings you to therapy, but what you're hoping will feel different in your life. We'll talk about what's been weighing on you, what you've already tried, and what feels most important to work on.

You don't need to have your story perfectly organized before we meet. I'll ask questions to help us make sense of what you're experiencing, and together we'll begin identifying patterns, strengths, and goals for therapy.

Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to worry about being "too much" in therapy with me. I've worked with people through some of the hardest moments imaginable, so there isn't much you can say that will surprise or scare me.
