Great to meet you!

My name is Natalie Smith, MFA, LSW, LCSW, SEP and I specialize in treating the impact and effects of trauma through evidence-based tools such as Somatic Experiencing( SE) , Dialectical Behavior Therapy ( DBT) , EMDR and Exposure. With couples, I focus on attachment and communication styles in service to healing conflict and building connection. I have over 18 years in the field, many as the Director of an adherent DBT clinic.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I treat the whole person and pay attention to what both the mind and body communicates through physical and emotional symptoms. My approach is collaborative. I believe that through direct and open communication we can forge a path to healing that addresses your concerns and isn't overwhelming. I use evidence based practices and somatic awareness to increase your ability to process and integrate your life's experiences and traumas.

What you can expect from our first session

I am passionate about healing. Life is too short not to address what is getting in your way to a life you love living. Don't let old patterns of behavior and negative beliefs hold you back any longer. Reach out, and lets see how you can move forward. I offer free consults to determine if we are the right fit. I look forward to working with you!
