Great to meet you!

After graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2013 with a degree in Biblical counseling, I began working slowly toward my clinical hours. I got married and had three kiddos during that time working my internships with CPS clients and a chronic pain clinic. Afterward I worked in a fast paced setting with clients from a psychiatric private practice and then I began my private practice in 2021.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy embodies the idea that people are experts on themselves and I am there to help guide my clients and construct a treatment plan that will help them engage their strengths, increase their awareness and make realistic change in their lives. Counseling is thus participatory, meant to be engaging, which sometimes can mean deep processing, homework assignments, practical life skills, structured sessions and or completely reflexive to the clients needs.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect to leave sessions with practical skills, more insight to their problems, ideas and plans on how to manage through challenges and the ability to engage wholeheartedly with themselves and others.
