Great to meet you!
I use a variety of treatment methods to help my clients heal in whatever way works best for them. I work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, religious trauma and faith deconstruction, ADHD, self-esteem, and aging and geriatric issues.
I believe that the relationship between a therapist and client is the most important thing in therapy. I want my clients to feel safe, respected, understood, and cared for as we work together. I welcome feedback and believe open communication is key to successful therapy.
I have worked in private practice, community mental health centers, acute treatment settings, emergency rooms, residential treatment centers, and done case management. These experiences have allowed me to work with a wide variety of clients, from all walks of life, for both short and long-term treatment.
My goal is for clients to start each session confidently knowing that I am always on their side and they will always be met with compassion. Healing happens when we feel safe enough to take the risks required to grow. I strive to create a space that is free of judgment, believes in hope when situations feel hopeless, and offers unconditional acceptance.
Although I received my Master's Degree from Denver Seminary, I no longer identify with the Evangelical Christian Church. My journey through faith deconstruction changed my worldview in a way that no longer aligns with evangelical Christian teachings. If you find yourself in a similar situation and feeling lost, hurt, and uncertain, I will meet you wherever you are. I've been there and I can help.
