Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Sarah, a licensed psychotherapist working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, shame, and relational or attachment-based trauma. I believe life is hard, and every person deserves a space where they feel seen, understood, and empowered. Asking for help is one of our greatest strengths.

My approach to therapy

At the core of my work is the belief that all aspects of ourselves: thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, are adaptations shaped by our experiences that have helped us survive. My approach is client-centered, warm, and trauma-informed. My clients describe me as insightful, deeply present, and always on their side. I believe feeling emotionally safe and truly seen is the foundation for meaningful growth and re-connecting to your truth.

I draw on coherence therapy, psychodynamic approaches, IFS, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral interventions. Together, at your pace, we’ll explore patterns and parts of yourself that are hurt, building inner trust, clarity, and self-compassion. I look forward to meeting you!

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, the focus will be on creating a safe and supportive space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and I prioritizes helping clients feel comfortable, heard, and respected from the very beginning. The first session is an opportunity for you to talk about what has been bringing you to therapy, the challenges you have been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from the process.

I will also ask some questions to better understand your background, current concerns, and the patterns or experiences that may be impacting your emotional well being. This conversation helps build a foundation for the work you will do together. My approach is warm, client centered, and trauma informed, meaning she moves at a pace that feels safe and appropriate for you.
