Great to meet you!

I am a licensed counselor in SC and NC, and I've worked in the counseling field for nine years. I have experience working with people who have disabilities, career challenges, major life transitions, mental health needs, and trauma-related symptoms. I have worked in various settings that include a college, a state mental health center, and in private practice. My top counseling specialties include trauma-related conditions, anxiety, depression, and attention-related symptoms.

My approach to therapy

I provide a collaborative approach, where you're heard, but you will also receive adequate feedback, so that you don't feel the therapy session is a one-way street. I blend together multiple counseling approaches such as Solution-Focused, Trauma-Informed, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy depending on your needs. I provide clients a safe place to talk, but also want clients to feel like they're gaining practical knowledge that will help them more independently outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

In therapy, you can expect a warm and non-judgmental space. My goal is to meet you where you are and build the therapeutic atmosphere based on your strengths and needs. My overall goal as a therapist is for you to feel confident to apply the skills learned in therapy in everyday life.
