Great to meet you!

YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Everyone's story is unique and challenging. I was adopted and experienced severe panic attacks early in life. Therapy saved my life. So I became a Therapist to pay it forward and help individuals and families face a variety of challenges such as depression, anxiety, gender identity issues, trauma and abuse, adoption/foster care, communication issues, loss in relationships, grief issues, etc.. You are not alone in this journey. Please contact me for a free consultation.

My approach to therapy

I use Person Centered Therapy, meaning connecting with YOU and developing rapport is most important. I tailor therapy to meet your needs. Primarily, I use a Cognitive Behavioral approach, focusing on how to develop healthy ways of thinking which lead to a productive mindset. Art Therapy Techniques are implemented during sessions for the creatives. Dialectical Behavior and Cognitive Processing Therapies are also used to treat trauma. Humor is essential throughout the therapeutic process as well!

What you can expect from me

Our first session is getting to know you and establishing a good rapport. Am I a good fit for you? I want to know your story and how I can help you. Moving forward, my focus will be more on teaching you "how" to "apply" good coping strategies so you can use the tools acquired more effectively. We can figure out why and what is going on, but "how" to change one's mindset and behaviors is the challenge. My goal is that you walk away feeling empowered and encouraged to lead your best life.
